2004 chevy silverado transmission problems?

2004 chevy silverado with a 4,3 in it its only got 70k on it truck is spotless it shifts from first to second perfect then it wont shift into 3rd or fourth put lucas transmission fluid in it to try to fix and no differance some1 tell me wat to do besides replacing the tranny
