Deciding on whether or not to kill character in my novel...?

I would maybe kill off the character, which would devastate your audience and cause a greater hatred for the antagonist, which is a good thing if that's what you're going for. Or if you love the protagonist enough to keep her around, you may have an assassination attempt by the antagonist that fails thus exposing the antagonists true feelings to the main character. Those are just my thoughts. Also, I'd like to read you're novel, so far it sounds great!
