Long Distance Towing Rest Intervals?

My family and I are moving from Michigan to Las Vegas, it is a 2000 mile drive. we are towing a 6X12 uhaul with a 2004 Nissan Armada with the towing package, My Question is what would be good rest intervals for the trip as far a s the trailer and towing is concerned? Don't want to blow my transmission or anything like that. the truck is in very good almost new condition with all safety checks and fluids replaced just for this trip.
