Safe to drive with hole in brake line?

Yesterday i noticed a very small spot under my car that was wet. it turned out to be brake fluid. I found a mechanic that will fix it but was wondering if it was safe to drive there. I cant afford to get a tow truck. the leak seems to be very small. i checked my brake fluid and it is still full.
