Are lighters bad for cigars & cigarrettes? (Lighter Fluid)?

I got a fake wanna' be zippo lighter. And I had to get some juice for it. So, I went to walmart and got a cheap liquid fluid. Brand Rondo..somethin..? I forgot the name. Anyways, its a yellow,plastic can and carries lighter fluid. Is the fluid bad for smoking? Are lighters bad for smoking? I really don't want to lose the flavors of the cigars and cigarettes. I bought a pack of 1000 matches. I feel safer with matches. I purchased a deehoo lighter just in case..you know. So. Is it bad or not? I heard some lighters and matches are bad....?
