Meta-physically speaking, is it be possible or logical for time to have an infinite past?

I remember hearing an appropriate description once. Asking what happened before the Big Bang, before the beginning of time, is like asking what's north of the North Pole. The question itself fundamentally doesn't make sense. Don't know if that helps, just two cents.
