Tips for trying to date a white guy?

I'm white and recently had my first experience being asked out by a girl rather than me asking her out. And she is black! Which is another first for me. Anyways, I was very impressed that a girl actually had the confidence to ask me out rather than the other way around. However, if you try this, don't feel down if you get rejected, guys do this all the time and get rejected. You just move on.
